Asheville Diaries: W.W. Brewing Pub

Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina Asheville is known for their art scene, Biltmore estate, and craft beer.

If you are a beer lover then you must visit Asheville, it actually has the most breweries per capita in all of America.

A favorite brewery of mine is called Wicked Weed Brewery Pub.  It has tons of outdoor seating, fire pits, tons of inside seating, and even a bottle shop.

This brewery focuses on hoppy beers, fermented Belgiums, and barrel aged sours.

The food menu isn’t extensive just 1 page but they have a range of items from burgers, soups, and even steak frites.

One things that I love is that they have not only fries but also homemade chips. I like to get the chips and beer cheese appetizer as my meal, their version of nachos. They use there homemade potato chips and top it with beer cheese, JalapeƱos, and bacon. It is so big I can never finish it.

You can order a flight of sours and they always have a few (which are my favorite) IPA’s on tap.

One drink that I highly recommend to order is their German Chocolate Cake Imperial Stout. It has deep chocolate and coconut notes and taste velvety smooth.

I would highly recommend if you are in the Asheville area to stop by Wicked Weed Brewing Pub!
