Donuts are a treat that I used to go out of my way to buy. Like seriously I would get into the car and drive to a place for a box of good donuts, especially good vegan donuts!

I am so happy that this recipe is so easy to make so that we can have donuts whenever we want them and the best part is that it takes less than 30 mins to make.

These donuts are baked instead of fried which means you can feel free to eat an extra one *wink wink*. Also, the texture of these donuts is more on the cake side. What I have heard for some is a big debate, cake-like donuts vs. the other kind (I don't even know the term for the "other kind").

They are great to have as dessert obviously, but they also perfectly pair with a great cup of tea (I love it with a hot cup of chamomile),  I am not going to lie I have even eaten these for breakfast.  

Also, feel free to make these cinnamon sugar donuts in advance, store them in the fridge, and then pop them in the microwave or oven for a minute or two before serving.
