Mushroom Pasta


When I have a busy day the last thing I want to do is come home and cook a complicated meal. Unfortunately, when those feelings arise that's when I find myself eating something really unhealthy, ...take out anyone!

Many people have this same feeling almost daily (between work, kids, housework, and just feeling emotionally exhausted it is completely understandable that you may not want to cook!) and that's why I pride myself on creating simple recipes. 

This pasta recipe came from that feeling of wanting a delicious home-cooked meal without all the work attached to it. Seriously, you can not get simpler than a 5 ingredient meal! 

This pasta has all the heartiness of a typical "comfort" meal without all the calories attached. The recipe makes two servings, with only 300 calories per serving. If you have a family you can easily double or even triple the recipe. Meal prep anyone?

Also, feel free not to stick to the 5 ingredients I list. You can easily dump whatever is in your pantry into this pasta, an easy way to clean out the fridge!
