EGGPLANT MUSHROOM BURGER

EGGPLANT MUSHROOM BURGER

One of my favorite things about making a burger at home is the aroma that fills the kitchen when the burger hits the grill.
There is something about that smell that reminds me of summer time and hanging out with friends.

When eating a "veggie" patty that smell 9 x's out of 10 just isn't there. And as much as I love my veggie burger, that smell would just bring it over the top.

Thankfully someone invented liquid smoke which helps to bring back all those nostalgic feels for my non meat eaters.

Liquid smoke aka liquid miracle in a bottle is a must have ingredient for this burger. Trust me do not skip this ingredient! Also, I made this burger in the air fryer but it can be made in the oven at 350 degrees or even in a skillet.

The best part is that you can make these burgers, cook them, and then freeze them! So whenever you have a craving  a burger you and just take one out and heat it up, without all those preservatives that are in store brought frozen patties.

If eggplants or mushrooms aren't your thing (even though it doesn't have an eggplant or mushroom taste), try out my 3 ingredient black bean burger.
